Resident physicians are part of our Graduate Medical Education program. They have completed extensive training and education during medical school and have a post-training license issued by the state of Florida. During residency, these physicians are mentored by tenured physicians, called attending physicians, who provide supervised training and guidance for clinical development in their chosen specialty.
